Molecular Biology Studies in Food
Today, the cultivation of genetically modified plants is an increasing phenomenon and is becoming widespread throughout the world. According to the published legal regulations, all food and animal feeds containing at least one ingredient or produced from genetically modified products must be appropriately labeled.
The presentation of genetically modified organisms and food or feed products obtained from them to consumers is subject to a certain approval process both in the European Union countries and in our country. In advanced laboratories, a number of analyzes are applied to determine whether the GMO ratio in such products exceeds the prescribed limits. According to the legal regulations in force in our country, the approval of the Biosafety Board is required for GMO products or products obtained from GMO products. The application for labeling GMO products in our country is included in the following two legal regulations: Biosafety Law and Regulation on Genetically Modified Organisms and Their Products.
"Molecular Biology Studies" are carried out in our laboratories in accordance with the legal regulations and standards related to TÜRKAK accreditation.
