Bacillus cereus is an aerobic spore-forming bacterium. Due to its soil origin, it can be seen more frequently in field and garden products, as well as in meat and dairy products. It causes economic losses especially in long-term drinking milk. Therefore, it is one of the important microbiological analysis parameters tested in foods.
