Colony count, which is one of the microbiological analysis methods, is a method used to calculate the microorganism load on the product under investigation. Microorganism load indicates the density of microorganisms in the sample taken. Aerobic colonies are groups of microorganisms that use oxygen to obtain energy.
In microbiological analysis, the type of microorganisms in the sample examined is of great importance. However, the number of microorganisms as well as the types of microorganisms has a considerable importance in microbiological analysis. Determination of the number of aerobic colonies in the analyzes made against the problems encountered is also one of the studies required to solve the problem.
In our laboratories, "Aerobic Colony Counting" is carried out in accordance with the legal regulations and standards related to TÜRKAK accreditation.
